Usmani is a B.Com, LLB, and MA in Economics He has also participated in many educational and training programs in Asia, Europe and the U.S.A. and had interaction with leading scholars and professionals in Management Development, Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.

Mr. Ubaid R. Usmani has been a Management Counselor in Pakistan Institute of Management and subsequently worked as Personnel Development Manager in Philips Pakistan, Director Human Resources in Parke, Davis & Company and Director Personnel & Administration, Legal and Public affairs in Singer Pakistan. Presently, he is the Chief Executive, “ConsultUsmani”, Management Consultants.

Mr. Usmani has been a senior member on the Managing Committee/ Board of Director of the Employers Federation of Pakistan for over two decades. Currently he is associated with EFP as a Legal Advisor and Consultant. He is additional Secretary General of Workers Employers Bilateral Council of Pakistan (WEBCOP Mr Usmani is a visiting faculty member of the University of Karachi and other educational, training & development institutions, as well as of commercial and industrial organizations in public, private and overseas sectors. He often writes on contemporary management subjects, which are published in professional Journals and other periodicals. He has conducted a number of successful corporate workshops and trainings.
