AGI Denim through its Parwaaz 2.0 initiative, has set a remarkable example in fostering an inclusive work environment for persons with disabilities (PWDs). Their structured approach to creating equal opportunities and ensuring accessibility has been transformative.
The initiative began with a series of strategic meetings to outline objectives and establish a roadmap for success. An Accessibility Audit was conducted to adapt the workplace for differently abled employees. To build awareness and foster inclusivity, Sensitization Training sessions were organized for staff.

AGI Denim extended its commitment through a dedicated Job Fair, followed by structured interviews and an Orientation Session to introduce new employees to the company’s policies, workplace culture, and accommodations. The integration process also included Sign Language Support and a visit by a Deaf Community Lead to understand the specific needs of hearing- and speech-impaired workers.
The project reached a significant milestone with the seamless On-Job Integration of PWDs into various roles on the production floor. Interpreters and other support systems ensure effective communication, fostering a collaborative and accessible work environment. PBDN commends AGI Denim for their innovative approach and dedication to inclusive employment practices, setting a benchmark for other organizations aiming to empower abilities and transform workplace culture.
