The President, Employers’ Federation of Pakistan addressed the media on 19th June, 2014 at the Karachi Press Club In his address, he commented on the Federal Budget presented on 3rd June, 2014. He also spoke on the law and order situation in Pakistan and about the Pakistan national Business Agenda which was launched last year in September.

Employers’ Federation of Pakistan organized World Day Against Child Labour program on 16th June, 2014 at Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with ILO (Islamabad), Government of Punjab, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Association of Network for Community Empowerment (ANCE). This program is to highlight the efforts of the stake holders in the elimination of Child Labour and a tribute to late Mr. Saeed Awan, recognizing his services in the area of workplace improvement addressing the hazards at work.

The Employers' Federation of Pakistan (EFP) recommends a business agenda (Chapter 2) composed of 17 major issues which need to be addressed through a proposed 7 Cs strategy (chapter 3) to achieve a prosperous Pakistan. The analysis and suggestions of the issues identified in this document, called the Pakistan National Business Agenda (PNBA) 2013, seek to actively engage the government and work towards addressing Pakistan's major social and economic problems.
EFP aims to provide credible solutions to the country's social and economic issues; and a market driven playing field and access to policy and decision makers for business.
Employers’ Federation of Pakistan held the 9th EFP Award Ceremony for the Best Practices in OSH&E. The Best Practices Trophy was won by Sui Southern Gas Company, followed by Pakistan International Container Terminal Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited receiving the 2nd and the 3rd Best Practices Trophies.
Mr. K. M. Nauman also referred to the Pakistan National Business Agenda identifying 17 issues which are much concern to the business and addressing them should be a priority issue for the Governments.
