Just Transition & Climate Change Project – Phase 1
The Just Transition and Climate Change Project, implemented by the EFP in collaboration with the International Labour Organization, aligns with Pakistan’s National SME Policy, supports compliance with emerging due diligence requirements, and contributes to Pakistan’s GSP+ commitments by promoting the formalization of supply chains and climate change mitigation. The project supports small and medium-sized enterprises, to apply just transition principles in their operations, strengthen respect for labour and environmental standards, and build the capacity needed to move towards greener production systems, ensuring that climate action is accompanied by decent work, social inclusion, and sustainable enterprise development.

Women Socio-Economic Empowerment
Empowering women is central to Pakistan’s economic growth. This project, conducted by EFP in collaboration with the ILO, directly enabled over 500 women (Phase 1 – 300 and Phase 2 – 200) to achieve greater economic independence and offering practical guidance and support to strengthen their role in both the workforce and their communities. Through training on workplace rights, skill development, and entrepreneurship, we are breaking down barriers and creating pathways for women to become confident leaders and active contributors to the economy.

RISE for Impact -FPRW in Cotton Supply Chain
RISE for Impact: Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work in the Cotton Supply Chain focused on Pakistan’s vital cotton supply chain. The RISE project implemented a new vision for improving working conditions and productivity. By sensitizing hundreds of farmers, workers, and local leaders on decent work practices and facilitating the formation of registered associations, this initiative has strengthened respect for labour rights and boosted supply chain sustainability from the ground up.

The Bridge Project – Phase 1
From Protocol to Practice: A Bridge to Global Action on Forced Labour (The Bridge Project) is the pivotal project, implemented by EFP in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and with funding from the U.S. Department of Labor, took direct aim at eradicating forced and bonded labour in Pakistan’s most vulnerable informal sectors. By raising awareness and building the capacity of over 300 employers, workers, and community leaders, we advanced the cause of workers’ rights and promoted fair recruitment practices in agriculture, mining, and brick kilns.

Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination at Workplace
Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination at the Workplace Through Design Thinking is dedicated to fostering inclusive workplaces. This EFP-ILO initiative equipped over 150 employers and HR professionals with innovative tools to champion gender equality. Through practical workshops on fair hiring practices, anti-harassment policies, and inclusive leadership, we demonstrated that diversity and inclusion are not just ethical imperatives but key drivers of business success and sustainable development.

Waste to Worth – Transforming Informal Waste Work into Decent Livelihoods
The Waste to Worth (W2W) Project aims to strengthen the PET recycling value chain in Pakistan while promoting safer working conditions, decent work and improved livelihoods for informal waste workers. Implemented in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and UNOPS, with support from The Coca-Cola Foundation, the project focuses on addressing occupational safety and health risks, strengthening worker participation and improving engagement across the recycling value chain.
