Mr. Mian Akram Farid is in the steel manufacturing business for the last five decades. He is currently the CEO and Managing Director of Pak Iron Steel Casting, Crown Plaza Hotel and Mian Brothers in Islamabad. Mr. Akram Farid is the Chairman of Skill Development Council, Islamabad and Vice President of Hotel Association of Pakistan besides remaining two times President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He has been associated with the Indo-Pak Chambers of Commerce and Industry, SAARC Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Prime Ministers Advisory Committee and is also currently the President of Islamabad Industrial Forum and Hotel and Motels Association of Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Northern Area.
