AOTS/EFP Virtual Seminar for Globalization and Changing Role of Managers

Japanese’s Experience in Pakistan

Implemented by The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships [AOTS] in cooperation with The Employers’ Federation of Pakistan [EFP]

Program Theme:

This program aims to deepen the understanding of changes in managers’ role in the era of globalization with examples of Japanese-affiliated companies. The program is designed to enhance participants’ capabilities in handling IR, HR, individual skill development, and leadership through lectures by a Japanese lecturer and group discussions in which they seek how to better apply what they learned in the seminar.  

Contents:

  1. ► Handling cross-culture diversity
  2. ► Understanding the relevance of conventions and traditions of the host country and managing the workforce accordingly
  3. ► Shifting focus from IR to HR
  4. ► The cultivation of individual skills and abilities
  5. ► Development of Management (Leadership)

Language Used:

  • This course is conducted in English.
 

Participation Requirements:

  • ► Be managers or they should be candidates for managers who are promised to promote to management positions in near future.
  • ► Specialist in charge of HRM or IR or any other relevant fields.
  • ► Be preferable between 23 and 60 years of age.
 

Certificate:

  • AOTS’s certificate will be awarded to participants who have completed the required program.
 

Lecturer Profile:

Kazuteru, KURODA

Head, Global Management Center Japan Productivity Center (JPC)

As a producer/trainer of JPC, Mr Kuroda has taken charge of organizational development and management control consulting projects in the Management Development Department. After changing to a Global Cooperation Department, he has worked on developing and structuring of governmental development technical cooperative projects. From 2010 to the present, he has been implementing management consulting services to Japanese cooperation in Asia region, training management programs and implementing training courses to Japanese branches offices in Asia region, and conducting research on Globalization of Japanese companies, as a head of Global Management Center. Area of expertise is in Global HR management; Executive Coaching; Manger Skill Training; Mentoring Program; Education Training Impact Measurement, Cost/benefit improvement; Corporate University Project Planning; Business Plan Development; Mid-long-term Management Plan, Financial Management Assessment; Cross-cultural implementing training; Liaison office training.
